The New Year is pushing on and now into February

Skip has just called me to put a Blag area on the site, listing what is required for this years campsite

I will be updating the list over the weekend, if there is something you can source, let the team know and I will mark it down for you

Before the Southampton Branch rants on, all you have to do it get to Houx as we know multi tasking can be difficult and you don't have room in the Cob boot for a kitchen sink!!!

Nice to hear from the Riht Honourable Member for Southampton and the Members of Weymouth Branch from the Alps, one hopes they are not letting the side down and never get to bed before 04.00hrs am.
Polishing up on French language I hope.
I trust all is well over there and look forward to more entries on the Blog complete with indiscreet photos of indescretions and minor law breaking.

Le Mans 2008 ticket allocation for the Bracknell and Northampton Branches have been confirmed we have camping tickets for The Houx Annexe plus the ususal General Entrance and ACO stand tickets.
Many thanks to the ladies of the ACO and the efforts of the Right Honourable Member for Weymouths in keeping them sweet and pliable throughout the last year, keep it up Skip.

Jeffers is on the case for the Le Mans Classic Hotel requirement.

JC just popped into my office and gave me the bad news, his lappy and camera plus lenses were stolen from his car last night.
A tad under £5,000 worth of white and black goods.
So..........
Understandably, JC aint in the mood for the calendars right now, he lost all his templates, but the piccies are backed up, but he has lost a bit of motivation.
I reckon JC will do em when he has the lappy back and can sort out his motivation etc, etc.

saw hundreds of elises an cobras hey skippy funny how when yuor m8s have them you realise how common they are ? i must admit the show was a bit hard as loads of the dolly birds wanted there picture with the spanner racing team members and my wrist hurt from all the autograph hunters skippy talked shop for a while then went to hotel hotel ok exept my bed was like lying on a pile of bricks went for meal i was refused my pudding {bad move } because the chef had died or sumthing but none the less had great nite woke 6 oclock next morning crippled from the bed to find i had a puncture and a flat spare anyway returned home 3 oclock today thanks to skippy and lofo for a great weekend a must next year as you can see what skippy ment by an adventure

heres my freinds {i dont think the camera was working properly 96 mph i was going faster than that}

what can i say auto sport international what an adventure it is a must for team spanner {put that one on your calender mark} we left weymouth at 7.30 buy ten 9.00 i was the proud owner of 3 points an 60 pound fine!!! as you can imagine lofty an skippy never said any thing about it only ll weekendlofty an skippy wanted a macdonalds breakfast so we stopped in every services from weymouth to brum {had a wimpy breakfast in the end}arrived at show walked to the nec about 2 miles too have left my camera in the car an as skippys camera could only hold 5 pics got a taxi to take me back to the car too get it {taxi was 6 pounds rip off merchent saw me coming} the show was great secured a sponsor , end of part 1

Well what an adventure! NEC 2008

300 miles ,approx ,£60 fine, 3 points, (note:- the last time i done 110 MPH,I was in a plane!)& i must say the POLICEMAN was a nice man.& one puncture.one refused pudding.Me & the kids are home.

Show was very good & i think a must for next year as a Team.As you can see what you think are special cars seem to be very common!Sorry about the lac of photos!Been given a new camera and didnt no that the card that it comes with only holds 5 pictures(thanks Jase for putting me straight on that)BUT ive got a feeling there will be more photos later and full show report from are possible new team driver (hooo seems to be very confident driver at 100 Mph. THE POLICEMAN SAID THAT!)& has the yellow ticket to prove it Jase.

Just a note to thank all of you that have phoned & tex s your support in these worrying times,ref the teams generator illness.After a minor operation yesterday and one this evening,although she is in intensive care tonight fingers crossed she will be in a normal ward by sunday and will have a full recovery.me and lofty have been overwhelmed by your support,and will keep you all posted on her condition over the next few days.

Hi Guys and Gals,

The camera drama from last year continues..... Camera is OK, don't worry.

Over the Chritmas period I took the Sony apart.
Every tiny screw was undone and it kind of fell to bits,a most interesting pile of bits and pieces and gubbins (Stuff unidentifiable and not a bit or a piece)
Managed to extract the tape!
But it was snapped. Damm!
So I sellotaped the ends together and tried the tape in the new camera.
As it loaded, the tape, it must have given way on the splicing, I was commanded immediately by the camera to remove the cartridge, I did and one end of the tape is now in the cartridge, the other is presenting itself quite nicely, but without the other end I am a bit knackered.
Upon investigation the cartridge is heat sealed. There are no screws to take it apart.
If any one has any ideas as to how I can solve this knotty problem I would be most grateful.

The lad has got hisself a new promotion and will soon become one of the highest ranking NCO's in the British Army...Damn I do train em well....Makes ya wonder where Chip's will end up LOL...So a coupla good things about Jamies promotion, 1) He gets to stay in the UK for at least 12 months, no nasty Afghanistan for him and, 2) He receives even more money and will be taking delivery of his Brand New 2008 Lotus Excige Performance Pack in White very very soon!!!
