Trojans, Skip, Lofty and Jason, members of the Logisitcs Department, performed their magic and we had a camp containing unimaginable luxury's and for that Marsty and I are truly grateful. Thanks Guys.

what can i say my best year by far! as last year a great drive down not a fast one but at least you take in all the views and you dont get lost hey chips the trams where great easy too get to town where the irish bar was outstanding cheers skip never been anywhere like that before {bit too many mens penises for my liking though} had four great relaxing day them the mayhem comenced last year i held back a bit being the new boy of the team but this year with my new found good looks lol i got a tad pissed on friday [not as bad as you last year mark but close]what a day never seen lofty that pissed and i cant belive what he was saying too sharon and rachel!!!!!!! not sure weather they were intreaged or scared!! good on ya loft. found out the 24h bar isnt!race day was outstanding cars , women , an we upset some germans what more could you want as per usual lost cotton on race nite and the icing on the cake was sunday at the finish i think we can safely say we was the loudest by far cant take team spanner anywhere only 355 days till next year id like to say thanks too lofty an skip for getting every thing there and hi too john and rachel [good too see you are well rachel] and hi too all we met thish year and a big thanks too you all for a great year cant wait for next year now love jason [fuel man]

Now that my hands have stopped shaking a bit I would like to Thank all Team Spanner members for making the trip such a Large one!! Particularly All the hard work put in by Skip, Lofto and Jase to make it all happen. The start of the race was as Mad as ever but the end has gotta be the Loudest ever!! Chips exceled hiself this year with over a 1000 pix n vids!! The Cherries worked well and Mike will forever be Wally Man to me!

The Toy Car is a Bit Sick............

Hi Ya All....Well the Cob went through the MOT with a little help from my friend! It seems she is over fueling a bit and the emissions were'nt at their best. Sorted with a different car on the ramp! Anyway, I have had a niggling water leak and whilst in cleaning mode over the weekend I found the culprit....See pic. The thermostat housing musta come from India or some other third world casting shop, cos it is well corroded and lost a decent chunk. Sooooo got a new one and me n Nick are gonna put her back together tonight. Also I have got hold of the engineer that built the beast and I am inviting him down over the coming weekend to give her the once over.
makes ya laugh don't it....There's me giving Skip n Lofto stick about the LDV's and the week before we go there is stuff to fix!!! Anyway have checked the weather http://www.accuweather.com/ and it looks good for race week, like 27 degrees on race day and a dry run down for Thursday......Appeeee Daze....See ya all soon......... Cob's in for her first MOT tomorrow, it will not rain, took her out last saturday for a 110 mile shake down, all looking and feeling good, espescially to the cars I overtook! LOL Hard to believe the car is three years old, 6,500 miles and one careful owner!! Looking forward to seeing you all and partying down in a puddleless field (is that a word?) I understand the Team shirts are under way for this year, well done Shaz X There are other things you can do apart from vodka based ones and well done Skip for leaving it to the last minute again LOL. Got us a few newbie/beer carriers for the trip and looking forward to introducing them to the team. Unfortunately Jamie n Lisa won't be on the tour but ya know we can fone em from the start! Projector Update

Projector should be in Dorset next week - either I will be down to see my mum or they will be coming up for the weekend - depends what the doctor says tomorrow at the Chemo Clinic :-(

I have just tested it and as I thought one of the colours is not working, the picture is ok but colour is not great - you need to run a resolution of 1024 x 768

The projector is a Compaq MP1600 - just checked on Ebay, there are two projectors on there, one for spares and new bulbs but these are £165 or £399...

Can't find the 35mile vga cable though...

You could see if you can get a digital USB TV tuner for your laptop, then you could see if you can pick up any local channels

Is it just the PC you want to hook up or the Sat decoder? If its the decode I will need to try to find the adapter...

When you turn the unit off, you must let it go into standby before pulling the plug otherwise you will totally kill the bulb

I will let you know when it is only 20 miles away unless I can get gyp to collect it or if I am down, then I will come to the fair ground to see all of the projects at LDV World!!!

i apologise for not posting on the blog for a while but as you can see ive been busy doing sum small alterations to our shower tower what do you all think not great but its a bit better are you happy now skippy?????

i have been tasked too do a job by skippy an was wondering if neone has any cable to attach my lap top too the projector i have laid it all out and my cables only reach southampton and the projector is with julian in guildford so if any one has about 35 mile i could borrow that would be great then i can test it out!!!!!!!!!! on a serious note has ne one got a satelite dish the old larger size is needed

New addition to the fleet

Hello, everyone.As Lofty has pointed out,not long to go.
Just arrived!Our new addition to the logistic team.We do need another one,if anyone No's of one.Also there is still a satellite dish to find!(someone must no of one?)Our we having new shirts this year?We need to start thinking about this.(your thoughts please!)Plus anyone wanting tee shirts (as previous post)we need to get these ordered.
Julian! We need to sort out this new site,ASAP.Plus don't give us CAN'T,ref the count down clock.Find a solution.Projector?
Jason.Hows the new shower coming on? Bet its looking good!Perhaps a photo?
Do we have any other requirements ? Lets sort it now rather than leave it to last minute.

For those that are starting to get excited about june,its 8weeks,4hours and 5o minutes (at the time of posting) that " senior" management(RD),enterainment management and logistis personnel and not forgetting vodka control,can get together for a few cold one's as we cross the channel!
