Now that my hands have stopped shaking a bit I would like to Thank all Team Spanner members for making the trip such a Large one!! Particularly All the hard work put in by Skip, Lofto and Jase to make it all happen. The start of the race was as Mad as ever but the end has gotta be the Loudest ever!! Chips exceled hiself this year with over a 1000 pix n vids!! The Cherries worked well and Mike will forever be Wally Man to me! 
Hi Ya All....Well the Cob went through the MOT with a little help from my friend! It seems she is over fueling a bit and the emissions were'nt at their best. Sorted with a different car on the ramp! Anyway, I have had a niggling water leak and whilst in cleaning mode over the weekend I found the culprit....See pic. The thermostat housing musta come from India or some other third world casting shop, cos it is well corroded and lost a decent chunk. Sooooo got a new one and me n Nick are gonna put her back together tonight. Also I have got hold of the engineer that built the beast and I am inviting him down over the coming weekend to give her the once over.
A big thank you to our team engineer, Gip who once again has work non stop over the last 4 days getting the support vehicles ready for there annual trip.Especially Lofty silver dream machine which this year has give us a few problems.But have all been sorted now (hopefully) Thanks Paul ! From us all........

Thought i share with you,& explain to Mr Cotton what i was doing when he rang me.Been building a old fairground ride on the beach.You don't no how difficult it is to get a truck & trailer on to a soft sand beach.We had to board over the sand with 30 sheets of shuttering ply just to get it there.I no what you are asking? WHY? The BBC are filming EASTENDERS in Weymouth all week & this has been brought down for that.

Hi All....Sorry not been about, I got a little Hung Up!! Obviously time consuming being an Austrian scarecrow and only recently got of the hook.....been putting my time to some very good use tho' from my office/wardrobe....Unfortunately more cerebral than liquid, but very worthwhile.....Anyway... Got a plumber looking for a boiler, shown him a pic of the old one and he may be able to help...Managed to get hold of 3 very rare "Houx Annexe" Camping tickets!! Many Thanks Skip....Spoke to Jamie who was off to Donnington with the new Excige, reckons it is Awesome, completely different car to the yellow one. He is off to the "Ring" at the end of the month..Ya might wanna call him for dates RD. Mail me for a number.....Nice comment the other day too RD, chip of the O'l block....talking of which, Chips is right up for it and has been in good training, said only today "I Must get that roof rack sorted" How are we doing for fridges Skip? The Cob has been out only once this year...Waszsa Mega blast for 60 miles round the lanes of Hampshire tho' Mucho adrenalin and looking forward to the french roads. I aim to get a roof for her this year, wouldna wanted to try n get her home in some of those rain storms from last year!!
