i apologise for not posting on the blog for a while but as you can see ive been busy doing sum small alterations to our shower tower what do you all think not great but its a bit better are you happy now skippy?????

i have been tasked too do a job by skippy an was wondering if neone has any cable to attach my lap top too the projector i have laid it all out and my cables only reach southampton and the projector is with julian in guildford so if any one has about 35 mile i could borrow that would be great then i can test it out!!!!!!!!!! on a serious note has ne one got a satelite dish the old larger size is needed

New addition to the fleet

Hello, everyone.As Lofty has pointed out,not long to go.
Just arrived!Our new addition to the logistic team.We do need another one,if anyone No's of one.Also there is still a satellite dish to find!(someone must no of one?)Our we having new shirts this year?We need to start thinking about this.(your thoughts please!)Plus anyone wanting tee shirts (as previous post)we need to get these ordered.
Julian! We need to sort out this new site,ASAP.Plus don't give us CAN'T,ref the count down clock.Find a solution.Projector?
Jason.Hows the new shower coming on? Bet its looking good!Perhaps a photo?
Do we have any other requirements ? Lets sort it now rather than leave it to last minute.

For those that are starting to get excited about june,its 8weeks,4hours and 5o minutes (at the time of posting) that " senior" management(RD),enterainment management and logistis personnel and not forgetting vodka control,can get together for a few cold one's as we cross the channel!
Looking forward to seeing all other team departments,old and new a few days later.

What Skip does on a sunday evening.

Thought i share with you,& explain to Mr Cotton what i was doing when he rang me.Been building a old fairground ride on the beach.You don't no how difficult it is to get a truck & trailer on to a soft sand beach.We had to board over the sand with 30 sheets of shuttering ply just to get it there.I no what you are asking? WHY? The BBC are filming EASTENDERS in Weymouth all week & this has been brought down for that.

Dear Honourable Members from Southampton, Weymouth, The South and the Midlands,Thames Valley and the Midlands,

As an Administrator, I have on occasion had to allow using Admin functions, comments made by non members on the Blog.
Today I noticed there were two such entries awaiting approval.
I had a look at one of them and was immediately sent to an Anti Spyware page that started to download a program.! Gulp!
I killed it instantly, and deleted the two entries awaiting approval.
I can't for the life of me remember who the Userids were, but lets take a lesson from this, if you don't recognise the originator - and this rule should also be used when opening emails, etc, in the normal day to day operation of the WWW-, delete immediately, do not open!

All administrators, be aware!

Weymouth Branch are still hunting for a old type satellite black mesh dish (not digital)someone must no where one is??This will help Jason our new evening entertainments officer in his quest!
ALSO, due to Lofty getting on with kitting out his van,space will be limited for transporting camp equipment,so we are thinking of splitting it with two small trailer s on each of the LDV Support vehicles.So does anyone no of any light weight trailers for sale.Beg Borrow,steel?Thank you CHIPS,hoo has offered to take a fridge down in the Fiesta.Cheers,that will help!

Easter

Well Easter has been awfull, went down to West bay for the w/e in the new camper, weather was to be expected, gales, snow,rain power cuts on site cos everybody was sat round their leccy fires! no barbecues...too cold and toooo bloody windy so we came home early, still looking on the bright side its one w/e closer to this years Le Mans!!!

Hi All....Sorry not been about, I got a little Hung Up!! Obviously time consuming being an Austrian scarecrow and only recently got of the hook.....been putting my time to some very good use tho' from my office/wardrobe....Unfortunately more cerebral than liquid, but very worthwhile.....Anyway... Got a plumber looking for a boiler, shown him a pic of the old one and he may be able to help...Managed to get hold of 3 very rare "Houx Annexe" Camping tickets!! Many Thanks Skip....Spoke to Jamie who was off to Donnington with the new Excige, reckons it is Awesome, completely different car to the yellow one. He is off to the "Ring" at the end of the month..Ya might wanna call him for dates RD. Mail me for a number.....Nice comment the other day too RD, chip of the O'l block....talking of which, Chips is right up for it and has been in good training, said only today "I Must get that roof rack sorted" How are we doing for fridges Skip? The Cob has been out only once this year...Waszsa Mega blast for 60 miles round the lanes of Hampshire tho' Mucho adrenalin and looking forward to the french roads. I aim to get a roof for her this year, wouldna wanted to try n get her home in some of those rain storms from last year!!

Before the Southampton Branch rants on, all you have to do it get to Houx as we know multi tasking can be difficult and you don't have room in the Cob boot for a kitchen sink!!!

Nice to hear from the Riht Honourable Member for Southampton and the Members of Weymouth Branch from the Alps, one hopes they are not letting the side down and never get to bed before 04.00hrs am.

Le Mans 2008 ticket allocation for the Bracknell and Northampton Branches have been confirmed we have camping tickets for The Houx Annexe plus the ususal General Entrance and ACO stand tickets.
Many thanks to the ladies of the ACO and the efforts of the Right Honourable Member for Weymouths in keeping them sweet and pliable throughout the last year, keep it up Skip.

Jeffers is on the case for the Le Mans Classic Hotel requirement.

A tad under £5,000 worth of white and black goods.
So..........
Understandably, JC aint in the mood for the calendars right now, he lost all his templates, but the piccies are backed up, but he has lost a bit of motivation.
I reckon JC will do em when he has the lappy back and can sort out his motivation etc, etc.

Nice one Skip...The stickers look great and at last now I have a family to belong to! Been wandering aimlessly for years LOL...I am thinking of some bigger ones for the doors and a coupla Union Jacks with names on the wings for the race. But just can't think of any names??
