Hello Race Fans
Going to head up north for the Autosport 6 hours of Silverstone (http://www.lemans-series.com/en/s52_circuits/s52p01_presentation.php?circuit=6) in September. Planning to leave sunny Weymouth at lunchtime on Friday 9th, travelling at a sedate pace and camping at Whittlebury Park (http://www.whittlebury.com/index.php?pag=cms&id=240&p=camping.html )on the Farm site which isn’t too far from the entrance near the old pits.
There are a few support races, CERS is usually good, with the main event on Sunday after which we’ll be heading south.
Anyone else fancy it?
Interesting.
ReplyDeleteMight be able to make that.
Who is Speedy Gonzales?
Went to Spa 2 weeknds ago, met Chris there, good to see him, missed him at Le Mans this year.
Spa was grey, moist, damp and cold at times.
Very Spa.
Circuit is old school, very nice, shades of Le Mans years ago. apparently the camping is worse then the Houx Annexe used to be 20 years ago.
Animals. See Chris I am sure he has some stories from the campsite.
anybody else gonna do this. If we make the effort, this could be as class as the June event.
I promise I wont take a video camera.
Mark.
I know who Speedy is.
ReplyDeleteHa!
Sussed.
It was the licence referral that gave me the clue and the fact that a French cop 'borrowed' it.
Bugger cant make this one as already booked out for a show at Shepton on that w/e what a shame!!! hey wanted to go here too http://www.santapod.co.uk/e_europe_finals.php but its on the same w/e however this event is very weather dependant but is a great display of out and out power noise and huge engines tuned to the brink of destruction !
