Well he went to Club ES PARADIS, (The queer DJ who took him has taken quite a shine to him & his large one !) Got home at 9.oo am this morning.Havnt seen him since,being at is now midnight,he s having a early night ( Bless)

Well Hi Guys,

Many thanks for your best wishes.
I shall not be attending this year, I fear my injuries are too great and I will be too weak.

However. I wish all who are attending a`fine week preceding and an even better weekend. I will be watching from afar and my thoughts will be with you.

I am at home now, got home on Monday 11th at about 20.00hrs. What a great sight after nearly 3 weeks away.
Marsty is`well pleased, she is such a good person.
I am completely buggared for another 4 weeks till the 6 week no load bearing period runs out for both shoulder and leg, all damage done to the left hand side.
Wheel chair and bed bound.
Not nice.

So anyway, things could have been worse.

Trailer Update

Here we are then,just a note to show everyone how things are progressing.She had her first coat of paint today,( & the only way i can describe that !) is it was like painting it with treacle.Cant wait to put the next two coats on.
News Flash! I believe that the Silver Dream Machine is not far of running and moving under the power of her new engine,I'm sure lofty will keep us updated on that,as it happens.

id just like to say in my deffence ive been doing as much as i can as i have had my daughter but as i have an element of forward planning ive not booked a weeks holiday 2 weeks be 4 le mans dont worry team ill be here gettting everything ready while certain team members are sunning themselves at least gips sorted the gigolo an fireman sams vans out and get them both running what would they do without you hey gip

I had a phone call to day from Mrs Race Director (Marsey)
She has informed me that Mark (Race director) has been involved in a motorcycle accident!
And from what i gather not in a good way,with leg and shoulder injury's.And instead of getting ready for June,he ll be seeing rather a lot of hospital walls and crutches for a while.
Hope you are on the mend soon mate....It wont be the same across the channel without you.
(we will have to send Jason on a camera course)

Update,With not much help from me,apart from moaning at them.Lofty & Jason are making progress with the trailer.hope to get some pictures on the blog soon!
Lofty,with a little help from me & Jason,his silver dream machine has had a heart transplant & seem s to be OK ,awaiting road test.(He s put mi race engine in!)
Not long to go now,and we are still on the hunt for a boiler ! (Chris, this is where we need your scavenging skills !)

News flash!

Project manager gets a warning. & labourer no where to be seen.
Anyway,away from the staff problems,its coming on slowly.... wheel arches have been fabricated and just need welding together.Anyone? know of any aluminium welders?Fibre Glaser's?Body workers that wont lose interest have way into the job? Inside hasnt really changed.

Update, On the team trailer work in progress

Just a few pictures of the progress we are making.Young Jason has just secured a shower tray & cubical,& before anyone says? is he still on his diet!He is.. its yust a sumo suit under those overalls. Right! All the wheels are done,just the brakes to connect.Loft has been fibre glassing & as from today it is water proof..Me . I just direct & pay.. & i must mention Mr B..... who is managing to do what he does well.Fuck all & make tea.

WHERE'S WALLY.............

Seeing as the trailer reconstruction is so important,i managed to get home from work early this evening,to lend a hand.So you can imagine my suprise when our 'project manager' didnt arrive!!

Not to worry jase,skip and myself braved the elements for an hour this evening to do the required works.......take it your just part time are ya?????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Update (21/2/09)

Well as you can see,another day beavering away.Once again Project manager Jason present again along with young Chris who probly wishes he shouldnt have offered to lend a hand.Oh yes and Lofty arrived just in time to see us pack up!
Old suspention units have been removed and 2 new units have been fitted today.
And big thank you to Chris for suppling us with a new water heater for the team shower.

Here we have young Jason,keenly working on are new team project,in the dark i may add!Also pictured is his new apprentice beavering away under Jasons watchfull eye.Oh yes & one of Jason drinking tea... Now you no why we have started NOW.
